Ooo...kaaay? A pony ...

Matthew 18:3 And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Mark 10:15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

Luke 18:17 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

1 Corinthians 14:20 Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.

1 Peter 2:2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,

Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

1 Timothy 2:1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone--

Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Acts 1:14 They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Colossians 1:3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,

Colossians 1:4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints--

Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray continually;

1 Timothy 2:1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone--

Jude 1:20 But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.

Jenny called me one day and cried "we need to pray the pony!". That is abbreviated-time-challenged-mom-speak for a long running theme in our conversations: ask Your Father for a pony (or other outrageous thing)-just like a child, utterly revealing your real desires, and believing your Father could fulfill any request if He wants to. The joy actually lies in the asking, hoping, disappointment, fulfillment, and changes of heart He will work. It doesn't actually lie in the thing requested: the proverbial "pony.". Although, we both are ridiculously prone to thinking it is.

This our place to post all that stuff we keep discussing, sharing, losing, forgetting. Watch the insanity.
