Trust

Posting at midnight, wide awake, my imagination resounding with the glorious emotional showdowns I wish I could instigate with my supposedly wayward friends.

But at present, I am the wayward one for believing I could possibly sway anyone's heart with brilliant, emotional arguments.

My trust is all in the wrong place. Now that I've been reminded where it should be, I'm finally getting sleepy.

Go the f#%€£ to sleep oh silly, self-righteous self!

Psalm 26:1
[ I Will Bless the LORD ] Of David. Vindicate me, O LORD, for I have walked in my integrity, and I have trusted in the LORD without wavering.

Psalm 28:7
The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.

Psalm 31:6
I hate those who pay regard to worthless idols, but I trust in the LORD.

Psalm 31:14
But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, "You are my God."

He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.
